Hainanese Chicken Rice

[Sunday 26 June] Chicken Rice + desserts

I have used corn-fed chicken much similar to Chinese 肉雞. The rice was cooked with chicken poaching liquid and chicken fat. Condiments shown above include chili sauce and ginger and onion dip.

From the left:
Belgian chocolate & orange dessert - a fruity orange sauce topped with a rich belgian chocolate cream decorated with plain chocolate curls. The sweet and tangy orange sauce contrasted well with the bitterness of the belgian chocolate. Delicious!
Wild blueberry panna cotta - a rich madagascan vanilla cream topped with a delicious juicy compote of wild blueberries. This dessert is loaded with calories! Tastewise is only soso, however, the texture of the pudding is soft and melt in the mouth.
